Wow, great trip. The Eagle Creek gorge looks so amazing with all the water falling from every cliff.

The only name I have seen attached to this waterfall is Sevenmile Falls. I finally made it up there for the first time last December. In past trips I always turned around at Tunnel Falls. The creeks were really raging yesterday! Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. :)

Never seen that perspective on Twister Falls before! Must be because there is SO MUCH WATER coming over it this time? Wow!

Agree on the "Sevenmile Falls" name. That's all I know it by, as well. Eagle Creek is really special isn't it? I totally feel the way you do about it. Can't express it, love to share it. :)

No doubt owing to the trailhead signs giving distances to Tunnel Falls, the Field Guide hikes titled Tunnel Falls Hike, and similar misleading info. The hike should be titled Twister Falls Hike and somewhere way down in the description should be an oh-by-the-way mention of Tunnel Falls. :D

It's cruel to send people 6 miles to Tunnel Falls without telling them the best falls on Eagle Creek are at 6.25!

Don't you have weekdays off? That's what those are FOR. Get the heck out there!

Is that right past Wy'east Camp? If so, that log was totally submerged today. We turned around rather than try to swim across.

And what's the name of the falls back there? We thought about schwacking back for a closer look, cause it was thundering, but decided to save it for another day.

No official name; but it's become colloquially known as Wy'east Falls over the years. There's actually a fairly easy to follow trail all the way back to the falls, but its on the south side of the creek so you'd have had to get wet in order to get there easily (side-hilling that gully does not look fun).
