I'm with Q - boo hiss...
I could still get another trip in to higher elevation areas
Kind of fun when there are spots of snow. Still no significant depths covering the trail or campsites. Can get envigoratingly cold over night.

I used to feel exactly the same, till I started skiing. Now I can't wait!

I'd break my neck on the first try, so I'll stick to snowshoeing, thanks.Charley wrote:Yall gotta start skiing!
Regardless, October is WAY too early for any snow sports! I'm sure that snow will melt so we can finish enjoying fall.

I wonder what it's like up at Indian Heaven; I was considering a hike there this weekend.
