The last time that I visited Trillium Lake I paid $5 to park. I remember reading somewhere that parking was free on the west side of the dam. Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks.

I can't confirm but I've never seen signs past the damn.
Keep in mind that if you have an annual National Park pass, is works for areas that call for NW forest passes. A lot of people don't know that.

A good reminder.
Also, not necessarily where there are concessionaires. They are not honored at Trillium lake (I don't know about the other side of the dam), Frog Lake, and Wildwood. At least the last time I was there they would not honor, my friend's pass. Such a confusing system (or lack of).
