Did the Ruckel Ridge loop for a spot of exercise and what was surprising was the total lack of snow at the top of the loop part of the Benson Plateau. Here's a shot around the creek crossing:
Of course, like last year it could all change over the next month.

Went up the PCT on Saturday, Feb 5th. We stopped at the overlook at 3,000 feet. The only snow was a patch in the trees (off-trail) at the edge of the overlook. Did not see any snow on the forested trail immediately uphill of the overlook.
