I suppose it depends on what part of Portland you live in. I timed it at 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Glen Jackson Bridge.

This is my prefered route. The road conditions seem to be more consistent and the trail is a lot more shaded. You do pay for it with more distance and mileage, but the fact you get Pyramid Rock and Sturgeon Rock along the route more than make up for it
