Many post the past few weeks for the Herman creek area so just an quick update on conditions Monday.
Was on the Herman creek trail by 0700, just a dusting of snow once I got above 3200ft and even at the high point not much more than an inch or so. Braved the wind to summit Tomlike- guess I will have to do it again since no view. From there I headed over to the PCT and back to the Herman Creek TH. Had the day to myself. Back to truck at 1800.
Temperature at Tomlike was 23 with winds around 30mph+. Didn't feel too bad when out of the wind. Was hoping for a break in the clouds but no luck. Here are a few pics:

Thanks for the update. Sometimes the only place to find current conditions is in a recent TR.
That's quite a loop, even in good weather. Too bad you had no views on Tomlike. I think that's the #2 best view in the gorge after Tanner Butte.

Make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again.

gorgeous with the snow - love how a trail can change constantly and always be 'new'. Excellent Tomlike add!
