Bald Mountain Lookout

A nice hike from the Lolo Pass/PCT junction to the Bald mountain lookout site. The lookout was there a century ago but all that remains is a few cement foundation stones. The view is the same.......Spectacular!!!

Nice! I didn't even think this hike would be accessible, so late in the season.

great! How was the snow on the roads? What rout did you take to the TH?

We started at the Pacific Crest trail where it crosses Lolo Pass. There was just a few snow patches on the trail. You can still easily drive to the Top spur trail head if you like, although I hope that changes soon :)
