More Lyle Cherry Orchard

Amazingly, despite living 10 miles from the TH, this is the first time I did this hike.

If you want a little more adventure in your Cherry Orchard hike, make a loop out of it by returning back west on the many deer trails that traverse the Missoula Flood deposits right above the top of the cliffs:

...and then make sure to check for ticks. :)

I was there on Tuesday, and the two remaining old cherry trees are in full bloom. I didn't get any ticks, although the winds was so strong I was full clothed in long pants and shirt, and also a wind parka most of the time
