Nice job! We were only a few hundred feet apart when you guys passed the junction to the truck cab trail.

Nice Gumby look, too!

Nice I just got back from doing a nice jaunt up there today. Rain, well sprinkles really, was even nice enough to wait until we just got back to the lodge.

Someone help me out here. Is the last part of the Primrose Path an ugly bushwhack up a steep slope with loose dirt or is there a nice trail I'm missing somewhere. Next time you are up that way put in some flagging.

Please advise,

Hey Pablo, it's kind of flagged, like 3 flags or so on either end of the ugly section.

We left the flags this time ;)

The ugly section is about 500-800' in length, dodging bare devils club and bare vines right now. It could easily
be brushed out right now before it leafs out again. Most of the Primrose Path is easily navigable and it's only
about 4/10ths of a mile from Angels Rest trail and the gnomes of Devils Rest.

Nice loop! That little abandoned trail have been on my list too long.

I was in the area too this Saturday - went up Palmer Mill Rd and was going to make a loop with Devils and Angels Rest but took wrong trail/road north that didn't connect to official trail (no map or GPS this time). Had more than one "where the heck I am?" moment but went back on Palmer before dark.

Ran into some Portlandhikers trailwork :)
