We haven't hiked with our dogs yet this year. Did a lot of hiking last year with our St. Bernard. Now we have a Great Dane (.75%) Lab (.25%) mix to add to our hiking family. We start the season off today!

Here are me and my three boys on Fish Creek trail off of the Clackamas River.

Foreground: Bear 9 yo Lab / Chow mix
Middle : Black Jack 4 yo Catahoula
Background: Hershey 14 yo American lab

They love going on the long hikes with me. This day was a eight mile round trip!

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum, but can I just say this thread is awesome? I love seeing pictures of dogs enjoying themselves in the woods. Here is my boy Ivan on the Clackamas River Trail:

And here are my older girls, who are now sadly retired from hiking. Ribby:

Ivan is a handsome lad. It's always hard to leave behind the ol' hiking buddies. Beautiful Ribby and Freya.
