Not sure how this is an improvement on the system where I tell my wife where I'm going and when I'll be back.

Re: Trail Note
Great site. My first thought (due to my background) was about security - letting people know that you're NOT home. But reading further I saw that you give your trip info to trusted friends, who use a 'trailnote ID' code to check your status.
So from briefly reading the info, it's free? I wonder how they manage the expenses? I saw that they sell t-shirts and hats. Maybe the merchandise offsets the cost.

It's probably free until they suck you in and then they add other features! Either way, I think it's pretty cool. I like that you can make your trip private or public.

And I bet TrailNote doesn't ask you to take the trash to the curb on your way out.renegadepilgrim wrote:Not all of us have spouses to report to....Chase wrote:Not sure how this is an improvement on the system where I tell my wife where I'm going and when I'll be back.
