They were lost on Dec. 26 (Thursday) at Eagle Creek Trail in the Gorge. I-84 at Exit 41. 2.2 miles from Bridge of the Gods.

Re: Lost Dogs at Eagle Creek/Ruckle Ridge Area
Anyone been on Eagle Creek trail after 8:50 AM Thursday Dec 26? Or in the area of the trailhead?
Re: Lost Dogs at Eagle Creek/Ruckle Ridge Area
I was on the Eagle Creek Trail to Tunnel Falls on Friday the 27th.
People we ran into mentioned seeing the flyer, but we nor any other hikers we talked to saw the dogs.

ddeppeler: I hope you have been going up there to see if the dogs have returned to the trailhead. Besides medication, I would think that they would be getting hungry.
The other possibility is that they have been found and have a new owner. I have to admit that my wife and I are thinking about getting a labrador, and your dog(s) look like they would fill the need. No, I don't have them, but you might consider posting a notice at the nearby trailheads and in Cascade Locks. Going with that hungry comment, I'm certain they could smell the meat cooking at Charburger and may have headed that way.

If the dogs do have a new owner, I hope the new owner will care for them better and keep them on leash.

okay, let me be less subtle
have you no heart people???
the poor guy lost his dear dogs and doesn't want to hear lectures about leashes, posting on the wrong thread, or that someone's going to steal his dogs.
( some humor here but I do hope he finds his dogs and keeping this thread alive my result in someone noticeing and then seeing them)

Hopefully they get found, can't imagine having two pups run into the forest, never to be seen again.
