Hey Jerry!! It's been a long time. I like to poke my head in every now and then and see how my baby is doing. Glad to see the site is so strong!

This rock can be seen on the north side of the Clackamas River Trail just west of Three Lynx Powerhouse.

I dubbed it Ape Rock because it has the appearance of a mountain gorilla. What do you think?

Favorite thread yet (and that is saying a lot)! Had yo stop looking just to save some for another time! Anyway, while we are on the Monkey/Ape thing, here is a baboon we saw on Alder Flats Trail, this autumn.

Also, someone has apparently been getting into the Alienspeak and Neon paint in the Upper Clackamas this summer, as we found at least 3 of these similar river rocks on hikes this year. Somehow not as offensive as I would have thought initially. Nothing earth shattering here, really just graffiti. But guess what? Anthropology and archaeology is basically the study of litterbugs, like it or not!
