This looks like a post from a spammer trying to sell me coffee.

Webfoot is harvesting our data for targeted advertising!

Actually, maybe it is a scammer who hacked Webfoot's account, since that post came from Panama City. But so have others, so maybe it's just a proxy. Unless Webfoot has always been a scammer... ;)

Believe it or not, I barely ever ride a mountain bike.

I'm using a VPN at the moment. I was stuck inside, making coffee, and got to wondering.

Does it say I am in Costa Rica? I’m traveling at the moment.

The daily is a Moccamaster drip, Moka and Aeropress for specialty. But I have nearly every type of maker.

The coffee here, by the way, is amazing.

Is it the freshness of the beans, or the way it is prepared?

AeroPress lately. I'm a recovering coffee snob who roasted his own beans for many years, always chasing but rarely obtaining that perfect shot. I've been clean since I wore out my third roaster. I've found the AeroPress (plus a good grinder) to make excellent coffee more consistently than anything else I've tried, even with lousy grocery store beans.

I have an aeropress, but apparently I'm too stupid to use it. Both as far as technique and figuring out what I need for grind size. Doesn't help that I only drink espresso usually, so I'm not even 100% clear on what other types of brew are supposed to taste like.

I've watched a couple YouTube videos, but eventually I just gave up. I'm doomed to go through the next power outage without coffee, same as this one.
