WTA seeks volunteers for Augspurger Work Party Weekend

WTA seeks volunteers for Augspurger Work Party Weekend

Hi Folks,

we're hosting two days of trail work (May 12/13) to open up the Augspurger Trail (backdoor to Dog Mt.). Volunteers wanted for one or both days. No prior trailwork experience necessary. Just sturdy boots, long pants, work gloves, plus clothes for the weather and food/water to sustain you through the day.

WTA provides all equipment and instruction.

Saturday features an optional campout and potluck at a dispersed site near the Dog Mt. Trailhead known as "Turtle Ponds"

Each days project begins at 8:30 am and ends no later than 3:30 pm. For more information and to register go to:

The Forest Service cleared out the road that will get the crew into the mid section where the trail needs help. We've got room for a few more volunteers! Sign up here:
