Hiked the Starvation Creek trail to Warren Lake yesterday.
On the Cut-off trail there is some tread damage; small slide, and a bit of tread loss; everything is passable at this time. There are a couple of blowdowns, sorry no coordinates. Good amount of small branches etc.
On the Starvation Ridge trail there is a good bit of limbs and smaller blow-downs. The tread looked good to me. The sign at the TH said the trail was impassable; I respectfully disagree. Heff and I had no problem finding or hiking the trail.

Summer breezes caressed me, my legs stepped forward as though possessed of their own appetite, and the mountains kept promising. Rebecca Solnit

Re: Starvation Ridge Trail 3.18.12
Updating this a bit, Turtle: as of yesterday (March 25), the section of the trail between the Mt. Defiance Tr. junction (near Lancaster Falls) and the Starvation Cutoff junction hasn't been logged out yet. Lots of downed trees in the Gorge this year, so it could be awhile for trail crews to get there. There was one log cut out near the Defiance junction, and then more on the Defiance trail toward Lancaster Creek, so a crew may have gone up that trail, not sure.
Since you posted, I did more clearing on the cutoff trail, so except from some tread issues, it's totally clear, now.

Thanks for your work on that trail, Tom.
