Yellow Flower?

Post by miah66 » May 8th, 2014, 1:59 pm

Anyone know what these bad boys are? Seen near Prineville in Mill Creek Wilderness blooming near Balsamroot, but definitely a different plant. These were singular plants and flowers, not bushels like Balsamroot.

Yep, so does wildflowersearch.com. Pretty flower! How was the hiking out near Prineville? We were going to head to the Painted Hills last weekend but were unable to do so :(.

It was great! Weather was nice Saturday, but pretty blustery at times on Sunday. The Twin Pillars Trail is pretty fun, it crosses the creek w/ no bridges 8 times in 2 miles! Take sandals!
