This is a photo from a TR of the Deschutes River Trail by arieshiker. Does anyone know this bird?

I'm no birder, but I'm always up for a challenge! Unfortunately there's about a bajillion birds that look extremely similar it seems.. :shock:

How about a 'Rock Wren'?

That's pretty darn close, given the markings and colors, though the bird in your photo looks to have a thinner, longer beak. Still, it's hard to deny those spots near the tail. Funny enough, they are both sitting on rocks. Thus the name? :?: :lol:

Rock Wren for sure, the undertail covert stripes are diagnostic...
