Here you go. Look under plan your visit. Remember to please respect the areas that are closed this time of the year. But I don't need to tell anybody here that. I've seen it though.

One of my favorite places to shoot, and there is no fee to visit. I love it when I see families walking with their kids. The only thing is I wish they would walk just a little slower, that's when you really get to see what's there. Happy shooting.

One more thing, they have a photo blind that is available at no charge, just make a reservation. I did last year and it looks like it is an under utilized opportunity.

Here's a link to the brochure for the place -

Thanks for the links & info. This looks like a place I could get my family to visit (with a bit of bribery)

Crusak do not go until after May 1st! I just came back from there & the closed trails are more that 3/4 of all the trails. I think the only way I would go back before May 1st is if I signed up for the Blinds for pictures. I have an 8x mono scope & since most of the trails are closed there really is not much to see now.

I did have the funniest experience while there! A family was at the river look out at the same time as me. I left the look out and a 2-3 year old started running after me yelling Dad!! Dad!! Dad for close to 100 feet while the family was telling him dad is back here. I turned around & told the kid hey I'm a stranger. The kid started crying really loud. The real Dad kept telling him he was daddy. So that is wild life also I guess :)

I was gonna tell you guys, they only have a little over a mile of trails open right now. After May 1st. they will have around 4 miles of trails open. The trails that are closed now are only open for 5 months out of the year. There's also really no EG there either. No pets are allowed, no running, stay on trails. Other than that this place is one of the most photogenic places in the area, especially right now!

Catch a sunset there sometime!
