Photo-Location Contest #2

First reply with correct location wins.

No awards. No prestige. Just the quiet pride of knowing your local hiking landmarks like the back of your hand.

There's a landmark in this photo?

I'm going to guess the north slope of Tom Dick and Harry Mountain that rises above Camp Creek -- opposite the US 26 grade. But there are a LOT of places where a stand of alder emerges from conifers along a steep slope... so... just guessing!

YES YES YES!!! If anyone here could get this one, it'd be you, Splintercat (or maybe a dedicated skier). It's right under our noses, but it's actually quite pretty with a skiff of snow on it.

Woohoo! Well, I have to say that I've admired that slope for years -- lots to look at over there, and yeah, definitely beautiful in winter! So, do I get a stuffed animal or something..? ;)
