From the Willamette National Forest:

"Recent storms continue to create hazardous driving conditions on Forest Service roads in the northern section of the Willamette National Forest, particularly in the Opal Creek Scenic Recreation Area. Public safety concerns have prompted forest engineers to issue a temporary closure for Forest Service Road 2207, which accesses several popular recreation sites, and to perform emergency repairs on Road 2209. Also from the Willamette NF notice cited by Carl:
That means that to get to Cedar Flats, a ford of Opal Creek is necessary, which might be a bit too interesting until the end of snow melt.A log bridge was also removed from the Opal Creek Trail, commonly known as the Kopetski Trail, due to rot making the trail impassable. Recreation staff plan to reroute the trail during the summer of 2013.
