Anyone want to do the North Umpqua Trail this year?
I'm planning a North Umpqua Trail trip; I would love some company, if anyone wants to go once the weather is a bit less rainy. We could do all (~75 mi.) or part.

I might be interested. Early-Mid September would probably be the best time to do that hike. I've just done some day hiking on the trail, and that was quite some time ago.

early mid September is the time to go up high in the mountains, because that's when the snow has melted off
North Umqua would be better in April or May when there's no where else to go
Although, North Umqua would be good in September, although maybe a bit hot

I appreciate your note, however I'm not a big fan of multi-day hikes where there is almost a guarantee of heavy rain half the time.
