That's strange, I don't recall any poison oak on that trail.

But seriously, even in summer I've never seen any, although I do recognize that part of the gorge at that elevation it can be vicious, e.g. just east of Starvation it's dense.

The cutoff is closed for hazardous conditions after the fire. The Starvation Cutoff is actually closed because of a washout where some trees took out the trail bench not far from the bottom - you can actually see it from the paved path a little before you ...
