Labyrinth to Catherine Creek to Coyote Wall , 21-Apr-2013

... Not too terrible of a pick-a-nick spot. A little breezy, and some light mist today, though. Probably more flowers in a week or three? http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w494/kepPNW/hk20130421-CoyoteWall/sm/20130421_1605_sm.jpg ...

Kings-Elk Mountains Loop Hike (April 12, 2013)

... The ferns and oxalis were outstanding! Trillium and bleeding heart are blooming. The rain and mist made this hike really lovely. Now that I have hiked this loop both CCW and CW, I definitely prefer CW starting at the Kings TH. After the gnarly ...

Re: Green Pt. Mt. – Herman Cr. loop 3-10-13

... (no exposed hardpack) or I would have turned around at the top. Microspikes are handy but not foolproof! There was some sort of blue smoke or mist in that 3rd picture down helping out. Cropping it a little is all I did, so I guess it was bad photography gone right. :)
